If you have lost a beloved pet, we extend our deepest condolences. As fellow pet lovers, we understand that this is never easy and are truly sorry for your loss.
You'll want to inform your pet provider to mark a pet as inactive. They will update this in their practice management software, and by the next day, the pet profile should appear in the inactive section of the PetDesk app. This will also ensure that no service reminders are sent for your loved one who has passed away.
To access a pet profile within the Inactive Pet section of the mobile app, follow these steps:
- Tap the settings icon in the upper corner
- Tap Inactive Pets
Here, you can see any pet profiles marked as inactive. This should not be confused with the "Remove Pet" option within a pet profile in the app. That option completely removes that pet profile and its associated data from the app.
