If you lost a loved pet, you have our deepest condolences. As pet lovers ourselves, we know this is never easy and are so sorry for your loss.
To mark a pet as inactive, you'll want to inform your pet provider. They will update this in their system's practice management software, and by the next day that pet profile should appear in the inactive section of the PetDesk app. This will also ensure no service reminders are sent for your loved one who has passed.
Thereafter, to access a pet profile within the Inactive Pet section of the mobile app:
- Tap the settings icon on the upper left
- Tap Inactive Pets
Here, you should see any pet profiles that have been set to inactive. This is not to be confused with the “Remove Pet” option within a pet profile in the app. That option will remove that pet profile and associated data from the app completely.
