Two-Way Texting is especially powerful when pre-loading commonly used messages into PetDesk. Share arrival or drop-off times, curbside instructions, pre- and post-surgery instructions, and payment options with one click. Pre-populated templates will save your front desk even more time and maintain an excellent and personalized client experience.
If you aren't already, please log in to the PetDesk Dashboard using your admin credentials.
- In the left navigation, click the Inbox tab
- Click the Templates sub-tab
PetDesk has pre-populated some templates we thought you'd find useful in your day-to-day.
Edit a Template
Customize or replace the existing templates by clicking the 3 vertical dots on the upper right of each template > Edit.
Quick Tip: Want to add emojis to your Two-Way template, like in the photo above? Here's how:
- On your keyboard, simultaneously hold down the Windows logo key + period (.) This pulls up your emoji keyboard!
- (Not working for you? Try holding down Windows logo key + semicolon (;) instead!)
Add a Template
Add another template by clicking the + Create New Template button towards the bottom of your current listing.
There is an allowance of 40 total templates, each with a 600 character limit. After 40, + Create New Template will be grayed out, with a 'max templates reached' message. To create a new template, modify an existing one, or delete an item and create a new template.
Insert templates into Two-Way Conversations
While in a conversation hit the 3 vertical dots to the left of the submit message icon. From here, choose an existing template or decide to create one for present and future use.
