Appointment Request Button

By default, your clients see a blue "Request Appointment" button on the You tab of the PetDesk mobile app. You can update this button to display "Book Appointment" instead, or even hide the ability for clients to request appointments via the app entirely.

Note: In some cases, pages are not provider-specific, so we default to Request Appointment if the pet parent has multiple provider cards (e.g., you tab and side up the action dashboard).

The appointment request button can be seen in these sections of the app:

  • You tab
  • Pets tab > select pet > Medical Records
  • Pets tab > '+' icon > slide up action dashboard
  • Button in Health Service Reminders
  • Button when reconfirming an appointment from an Appointment Reminder

You can hide the button from the following areas, but the default wording will remain:

  • Settings > Appointment History
  • Providers tab > Loyalty Program button > Redeem Reward

Clients using the online web requester? Request vs Book will display as updated.
There is no option to hide this line.

Prescription Request Button

When it comes to medication refills, your clients see a "Request Refill" button when opening the Pets tab, selecting their pet, and opening the Prescriptions tab. Upon request, you can disable this "Request Refill" button altogether - contact PetDesk Product Support!
