Program Overview & Eligibility

CarePath Loyalty is a partner-supported point-of-sale rebate program that enables participating clinics to provide immediate savings to pet owners on eligible purchases. Clinics are then reimbursed for the rebates they provide. Available promotions, products, and eligibility requirements vary by participating partner.

Here's how it works:

  1. A partner is offering a discount program with a specific rebate offer on their product.
  2. PetDesk notifies your clinic about available programs and provides the rebate codes you'll need.
  3. Your practice manager or PIMS admin adds the discount (rebate) code to your PIMS so it's available to add to invoices.
  4. When a pet parent qualifies, your front desk staff applies the discount code directly in your PIMS at checkout.
  5. The pet parent receives the savings immediately on their invoice.
  6. PetDesk validates the transaction and submits a rebate to the partner on your behalf.
  7. Your clinic is reimbursed for the rebate amount.

No enrollment is required for pet parents. Rebates are based on the program eligibility and requirements. No action is required from the pet parent – they simply receive the savings at checkout.

PetDesk is your point of contact  If you have questions about the program, available offers, or reimbursement, contact PetDesk directly (support@petdesk.com).

Eligibility rules

Eligibility is evaluated per pet and per clinic based on transaction history in your PIMS. A pet can qualify for multiple programs on the same visit. If so, apply each rebate code as a separate line item on the invoice.

Programs have start and end dates. Only apply rebates for programs that are currently active. PetDesk will notify you when new programs launch and when existing programs are approaching expiration.

How to stay informed

PetDesk will notify your clinic about:

  • New programs as they become available
  • Expiration notices 30 days before a program ends
  • A reminder on the day a program expires

Check with PetDesk or your corporate group contact if you're unsure which programs are currently active.
