Sending reminders to a client whose pet has passed is something we all want to avoid and should not occur. To ensure this does not happen, follow the steps below in your practice management software (PIMS) for the patient record.
- Mark the patient as "Inactive", "Deceased", or note the Date of Death (DOD). Options may vary depending on your practice management software.
Once corrected, this should reflect after the overnight sync. If you still see issues or an incorrect message was sent despite these settings being previously updated, reach out to the PetDesk Customer Support team right away.
