To update your clinic's scheduling settings in the PetDesk dashboard:
Log into your PetDesk Dashboard using the Admin login credentials.
- Click the setting icon on the upper right of the dashboard.
- Click App Settings
- Click the Availability link and then the Client Scheduling Limits subtab
- Make the necessary edits that work for your practice's schedule availability
You are able to accept same-day appointment requests by clicking the first checkbox. If same-day appointment requests are not accepted, you will be able to set how soon a client can request an appointment by entering the number of days, weeks, or months in the second row. "0" is not a valid entry.
- 1 week = 7 days
- 1 month = 30 days
The current maximums:
Providers are not able able to make an entry for 182 days / 26 weeks / 6 months ahead, into the future.
Display appointment start times:
You are able to update your "display appointment start" times from this page as well. This setting influences the time increments in which you will be able to schedule appointments in the dashboard. The best practice is to set this increment to match your shortest appointment time.
