WHAT IS IT?
PetDesk Phones is more than just a call log. If you're logged into the PetDesk Dashboard with the Dashboard minimized, you'll get alerted to incoming calls on any screen via desktop notification. Clicking the notification brings up the Dashboard with the module open and ready to go.
If the Dashboard is already open, the phone icon will light up green with an incoming call. Press the green icon to open the Phones module and view caller details.
The icon will appear blue when there is no incoming call - clicking on it will also open up the module.
When answering a call or clicking on the icon, the PetDesk Phones module will slide out from the right-side of the Dashboard. Active calls will be displayed at the top of the call list highlighted in green. You can filter the last 24 hours of calls by inbound, outbound, missed, or returned. The collapsed call view will show you client name, number, email, and time of call. You'll see a small orange flag if the client's profile is missing any information.
- Events displays the last 24 hours of calls
- Unconfirmed displays appointments from your practice management software (PIMS) calendar with an unconfirmed status
- No Show displays appointments from your PIMS schedule with a status of (you guessed it!) no show
Expand the details of a call to see the client ID, what number the client called into, their active pets, and any previous or upcoming appointments. Use the play button to listen to the call recording or the download button
to save the recording to your computer files.
Male pets are in blue text, and female pets are in pink text. Hovering over the pet name displays a pop up box showing the sex, and breed. Hovering over a previous or upcoming appointment will show you the appointment's scheduled time!
