Onboarding ezyVet with PetDesk

As you onboard or switch to ezyVet Practice Management System (PIMS) we'll need some vital information from you. When prompted, we'll need you to complete a quick task in your ezyVet PIMS. Then we're ready to start onboarding!

Already a PetDesk customer and switching to ezyVet?
Reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager at customersuccess@petdesk.com.

When given the go-ahead from your PetDesk rep, follow the below steps in your ezyVet PIMS settings to find the necessary information to initiate a data sync. 

In ezyVet, under your admin login:

  1. Click the Admin tab
  2. Use the left drop-down > Integration
  3. In the Integration search box to the right, type and select, "API Partner"
  4. From the Partner drop-down, select PetDesk > Save
  5. Underneath "Scopes" > Select All > Save
  6. OR: Here is the list of the scopes you have to check at minimum for PetDesk to sync properly:
      • read-address
      • read-animal
      • read-animalcolour
      • read-appointment
      • read-appointmentstatus
      • read-appointmenttype
      • read-breed
      • read-consult
      • read-contact
      • read-contactdetail
      • read-contactdetailtype
      • read-country
      • read-invoice
      • read-invoiceline
      • read-payment
      • read-prescription
      • read-prescriptionitem
      • read-product
      • read-resource
      • read-separation
      • read-sex
      • read-species
      • read-standardofcare
      • read-systemsetting
      • read-tag
      • read-tagcategory
      • read-tagname
      • read-user
      • read-vaccination
      • write-appointment
      • write-attachment
      • write-communication
  7. Click "Download Credentials"
      • Your browser will download a file named credentialsapi.txt
  8. Send this attachment via email to the PetDesk resource that requested it.
      • if not replying to a thread, please include your clinic name & email
