With PetDesk Pay, collecting payments from your clients is now a breeze. Clients can even pay using the digital wallets on their smart devices - via either Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Google and Apple Pay capabilities must be enabled in your invoice settings within the PetDesk Pay Dashboard for clients to see the option to pay via digital wallet on their invoices. Follow these steps to enable this setting:
- From the PetDesk Pay Dashboard, click Settings
- Click Invoice Settings
- Under "Allowed Payment Methods," check Apple Pay and Google Pay
Once this setting is enabled, clients can pay via digital wallet on their smart device either in person or online.
If you do not see this option in your Invoice Settings, please contact PetDesk Product Support!
If your client is in-person, they need to have their debit card stored in the digital wallet on their device, and they can then open their digital wallet app and tap their device on the terminal to pay.
If your client is paying the invoice online (not in person), they can simply select the digital wallet payment option on their invoice when checking out and skip manually entering their card details!
You can find other ways to take payments via the PetDesk Pay terminal in this article.
FAQ:
What if Apple Pay doesn't appear on the invoice, even though Apple / Google Pay are enabled in my invoice settings?
Apple Pay is only visible as an option for customers on an Apple mobile device or an Apple desktop using the Safari browser. Google Pay will be visible as an option no matter the device or browser used.
