Clinics nationwide use Two-Way Texting to provide and receive updates on pets quickly and efficiently. In certain cases, pet parents will share what they are seeing in a video. We've built in the capabilities not only to see the video - but to download it, too - so you can attach it to the appropriate patient record.
Here are the specs and list of supported media types that can be used within the Two-Way Texting feature. Keep in mind, attachments must remain below 4.5MBs to be sent or received successfully.
PDF:
Any .pdf format file
Video:
The received video will display as either a snapshot or an icon, depending on the file type. An mp4 and webm video attachment type can be played within the conversation thread of the Inbox tab of the PetDesk Dashboard. You can also view in full screen, open in a mini window, or download the file.
For all other video attachment file types, you'll need to download the file. Many tools may work, but one that we've found reliable for most file types is the VLC media player. Supported media types are:

Images:
Clicking on an image will open it in a separate tab where you may view it fully, zoom in, and download the file. Support media types are:
