As you onboard or switch to DaySmart Vet Practice Management System (PIMS) we'll need some vital information from you. When prompted, we'll need you to complete a quick task in your DaySmart Vet. Then we're ready to start onboarding!

When given the go-ahead from your PetDesk resource follow the below steps in your DaySmart Vet PIMS settings to send us the necessary information to initiate a data sync.
In DaySmart Vet:
- Click the upper right tab labeled Settings (gear icon)
- Below that click the Add-ons tab to display the Integration choices
- Click the '+' icon for the PetDesk Integration row
- At the pop-up enter the PetDesk 4-digit referral code(provided by your PetDesk resource)
- If relying on DaySmart reminders while onboarding PetDesk select: Continue sending reminders after enabled
- This allows your clinic's current reminders to continue being sent from DaySmart until ready to transition to PetDesk reminders.
- Post PetDesk onboarding, please update this setting so duplicate reminders are not sent out to clients
- After this PetDesk Integration Add-On is enabled, PetDesk receives an email with the needed information to begin initiating a sync with your data. Your PetDesk resource will advise of timeline expectations.
